Hey everyone. Just chilling out here on night shift and making some lists. I would like to see how this list would fare in my upcoming game. please comment and criticise. The pts are at 1533 currently and I am looking to shave out the 33 pts by possibly grouping the two warrior squads together into 15 man squad with lancetek and lord with orb and making a few other deductions. Other possibilities are shifting pts around to outfit both warrior squads with a lord and tek each.

HQ:
Overlord
Scythe
Sempiternal weave
Phase shifter
Transport: CCB Total: 240 pts

Court:
Cryptek
Destruction
Solar Pulse
Gaze of flame
Necron Lord
Res orb Total: 130 pts

Troops:
8x Warriors
8x Warriors
10x immortals (Tesla) Total: 378

Fast Attack:
4x Wraiths
2x Coils
1x Particle Caster
4x Wraiths
2x Coils
1x Phase shifter
10x Scarab bases Total: 495 pts

Heavy Support:
2x spyders
2x spyders
Annihilation Barge Total: 290 pts

Why 2 groups of 4 wraiths? If you combine them for a group of 6, you could then split your scarabs into 2 groups of 5 to start, then you'd have a choice of which unit to add the new scarabs to. Also, that would solve part of your points problem.

I wanted to get as many wraiths on the field and I currently own 9 I was tempted to go with 2 groups of 5 for added killy but decided on the smaller groups. I was hoping to oversautrate his target priority. Though i will put pen to paper and see what comes of 6 wraiths in regards to my point problem

Well, CCB, 2Xwraith squads and Scarabs is certainly a number of juicy targets. Have you found that groups of 4 wraiths can survive the shooting?

The phase shifter was for wound allocation shenanigans

It depends on the amount of terrain and how much I can keep them in cover.

... umm, Wraiths come pre-equipped with Phase Shifters (they're not something you can use for "wound allocation shenanigans".
Wraiths can only be upgraded with Particles Casters, Whip Coils and Transdimensional Beamers.

The only reason you pay 15 points for a Transdimensional Beamer is for wound allocation.

no one even knows
there are plenty of other things in the codex which would have made a lot more sense than letting them take beamers.
(but then, GW aren't exactly well known for play testing/quality control, so...)

Would love to pay 15 points to give wraiths gauss cannons as they are s5 ap3 and assault 2. Such a shame GW try to make really cool stuff and then give it to all the wrong units.

Oh that is a fail worthy mistake indeed. Yes I meant particle caster.
