I think I may drop a HG to get sacs and glands on the tervigons.

Stealers infiltrate up max. Flyrant goes with the goyles. One tervigon outflanks. Trygons may or may not deepstrike.

Im building a list very similar to this. I'm not an experienced player but I find that genestealers work amazingly in small groups rather than one large one.

Im also going to experiment running my flyrant with mass gargoyles, giving them preferred enemy, as the re-rolls add to your auto wounds I think, making the goyles effective in CC as well as giving cover to the flyrant. Overall, I like this list

Drop catalyst replace it with onslaught, trust me. Catalyst is so overated, you cant fnp if they pierce your armor saves, example bolter can simply pierce a 5+ armor of henestealer and gargoyles. Put it trygon? Dont worry lascannon and melta ml will do the job.

Armor 6+ and 5+ can take FNP against AP5.

FNP is only denied by AP 1 and 2, and weapons which never allow armor saves, such as those from Power Weapons, DCCW's etc. Pg 75 of the small book.

Sorry if this is posting too many rules, I just had to reread FNP and make sure after reading the previous post.

FNP won't work against lascannons, but the key is it does work against missile launchers which are S8 AP3. They wound on 2s and go straight through armour and so if not in cover it's the only thing keeping those MCs alive. Have someone shoot 20 MLs at you with/without catalyst and then come back and comment on if it's worth 15 points or not ...

On the list, I'd drop the hive guard down to 3 broods of 2 as that gives you 150 points to spend on the list. Split stealers into 2 broods of 10 and give them toxin sacs. Adrenal glands on the trygons. Gargoyles are just gants with wings who don't benefit from the tervigons abilities. I wouldn't spend points on upgrades and would just put more gargoyles on the table - possibly 2 broods of 15 for flexibility as you have FA slots free.

Tervigon does benefiit from TS and AG. His benefit is in boosting the gants and not it's own prowess in CC.

Any points left I would maybe look at OA on the flyrant as a possibility. It makes stealers lethal and termagants in the tervigon bubble can also do a job. You can then drop the talons on the flyrant and give him a shooting attack. That might be getting a bit tight on points, but you get the idea ...
