well, I'd change some crusaders to more DCA, maybe change some TL LC's to TL AC or hvy bolters with psyammo (and have one squad drop a guy so coteaz can fit in)

maybe drop the strike for more henchmen?

Instead of strike squad you could have:

Razorback, 3 henchmen acolytes, psy ammo.
Razorback, 3 henchmen acolytes, psy ammo.

....and 16 spare points. Dropping a crusader to fit in coteaz as BoT suggested gives you 31 spare points so you can upgrade 3 of the acolytes to meltagunners.


It's usual to have more DCA, but I've heard strange good things about crusader heavy units. I haven't tried them.

I don't think that assault cannons with psy ammo on thr razors is a good idea because they still wouldn't be as good as lascannons at taking out tanks. If i keep the lascannons I could put in some acolytes with flamers in a flamerback and use it as a burn it to the ground type unit.

Actually, a psycannon is better than lascannon for putting the hurt on vehicles. 4 shots @ S7 stands a good chance of penning AV11 and rending shots means that you can even threaten AV14. Also, the psycannon pulls double duty as an anti-infantry gun, giving you the added flexibility that is crucial at low level point games.

I can show the lists I'll be up against to help solve the lascannon assault cannon thing.

I have no models yet so changing to assault cannons is fine if I need to. But it meant I have to cut a henchman from somewhere to make the points

well, use acolyte meltaguns for the raider, and assault cannons should have little trouble on the MC's

and:

TL hvy bolters with psyammo > TL hvy flamers with psyflame ammo

have 1-2 TL LC, and rest TL AC/hvy bolter with psyammo

i think you will really struggle against the Land Raider with Lascannons, Meltaguns should be better or multi meltas. A vindicare would do well against both considering he can remove invulnerable saves and has around a o.25 chance of killing a Land Raider in a turn and a twin linked lascannon has around a o.o5 chance of killing a land raider.

Change your flamers for meltaguns would be a simple solution.

I like that one Ridealgh, but I'd personally put Coteaz in one of the forward razorbacks rather than the backfield TL-lascannon razorback, as I think he's better on the offence than the defence: his hammer and assault hawk and 2+ save is surprisingly sweet and effective.
