i have a few SM left over from a friend when he quit He sold a bunch of them aside from the ones we couldn't find, i'm painting them as Black Templars right now for my upcoming BT army, i have a Terminator but i am unsure of what to give him the options are : Right arm | Left arm
Storm Bolter | Power Sword
" " | Chain Fist
Lightning Claws
i also have: two bolter marines, one missile marine, one metal techmarine with bolt pistol and power axe, 1 assault marine with a plasma pistol and 3 Masters of the Chapter
if that helps with what to choose i'm going for a heavy army
any feed back is appreciated

If I were you I would at least make sure to make that terminator is equiped with lightning claws, then buy an assault terminator squad and add them to get 6 terminators (3 with storm shields and 3 with lightning claws) this is a typical black templar squad.
You could use the masters of the chapter for a sword brethren squad (you'll need at least 3 more though).
The rest is really up to you as they are not very useful IMO.
Good luck!

Well the first question you need to ask yourself when starting a BT army is do you want to be shooty or assault based. Also make sure you read the erratas and FAQs on GWs site as the codex got updated quite a bit. I guess I don't get what you mean by a "heavy army."
For the terminator either go with the claws for shooty or storm bolter Chain Fist for the shooty version. Since we don't have Sgts only four total models can use the power sword and Storm Bolter combo and 2 of them shouldn't run that way.
The bolter marines and kind of the missile launcher work in the shooty list. Typically they will have a 5 man squad with a lascannon and a plasma gun but if you want to run the ML you can.
The techmarines for BT are overlooked because they are an elites choice. Honestly unless you try to run a lot of mech and not terminators then you won't find a use for him, but in a more mechanised list...hey he's a two wound freaking techmarine.
The assault marine is unfortunately rather useless right now. But the MotC. Which ones do you have. The most common loadout is artificer armor, Storm Shield, mantle, termi armor (if artificer isn't taken) or termi honors, and then either a LC or a TH. Most people take the LC so you may have some conversion work to do. Although if you do get the space marine commander then you can use the assault marines legs to get a rather dynamic pose out of him.
The other things you will need to pick up are 1) an Emperor's Champion. Build one, buy one, I don't care but you have to have this guy, but he boosts the army well. 2) Terminators. Either shooty or assault based on your army. A shooty one will have 5 guys with 2 cyclones (only one comes in the box so hit up bits stores other guys at you LGS) and tank hunters. A CC one will either be all TH/SS or 4-5 LC and 2-3 TH/SS put in a land raider crusader. 3) Typhoons. We get them cheaper than anyone else and are the go to for our fast attack. Although I still have a soft spot for the bike squad with all melta and the MM attack bike. 4) Predators or Vindicators. Preds are for shooty (normally autocannon turret and las sponsons, but I have seen las turret as well) and vindis are for CC. Either way they both need Power of the Machine Spirit, and the vindis need Extra Armor. 5) This is right up there with the EC, but you need marines. Either 5 man las/plas squads like above with some rhinos to protect them. Or close combat squads that go with 7 inititaes with BP/CCW as opposed to the shooty style boletrs. One of them needs a Melta Gun, the other a Fist. Then run 3 neophytes (scouts) with Bp/CCW. They obviously go with rhinos. Run about 3-4 of them. The BT upgrade box is actually pretty cool and comes with all the Chainswords that you need.

BT uses the Codex Astartes as toilet paper. They’re an Imp Fist successor, recruit from multiple planets, and are known to be the largest Chapter in the galaxy. They’re on a constant Crusade, keeping it real for the Emperor and not bumming around like the other guys. They hate psykers and can’t ally with them. They’re basically an entire chapter of Chaplains. CC lunatics. What every Space Marine should aspire to be, if not trapped in a Matt Ward nightmare.

First off welcome to BT. I have to agree with what Akro said, but if you are going to start an army dont base it around some models you got from your friend. You will probli have to invest a couple hundred dollars into a decent army. Dont get tunnel vision and think you need a list around these few models. You need to start with the basics when you start and army. Your 1 HQ and 2 Troops, and seeing how you have to take the EC in games of 750+ Might aswell start there, then you need two troops. Squads can vary from 5-20 guys depending how you would like to run them. I run 8 man squads 1w/ Meltagun 1w/PF in a rhino. Other people who favor shooting take 5 guys w/Lascannon & Plasma gun.
Now the EC has 4 Vows you have to choice from 2 that IMHO are useless and ull never use. The other 2 are Accept any Challange no Matter the Odds (AaCnMtO) or Arbhor the Witch Destroy the Witch (AtWDtW) if you are doing a shooty list go with AtWDtW and if you are doing an assault based list take AaCnMtO.
Your basic shooty units are 5M Terminator squad w/ 2CML or 2 Assault Cannons w/ Tank Hunters. 5M crusader squads w/ LC,ML or PC w/ or w/out a MG or PG.
Your assault based units Assault Terminators I like to run all TH/SH but some people like the furious charge w/ LC the load outs are generally 3 to 1 for LC and SS/TH load outs. Then You have blob squads of 20 guys all CCW and MG and PF or anywhere between 7-10 guys in a rhino CCW, MG, PF. There are Assault marines but they generally are not used. One of my favoirte things i used to do is take 4 Bikes w/ Attack bike and give 3 of em PWs.
There are many more but these are the more common things you will see in a competitive BT shooty or Assault army. But what makes our army so deadly like Akro said are our Cheap Landspeeders and our Vindicatrors w/ PotMS and EA which can b taken in either shooty or assault based list to make it more competitve.
GL with ur army and hopefully soon you can get a list uploaded so we can see what ur trying to play with
