My FLGS is doing a tourney in few weeks and I'm trying to get ready for it. I won't be able to buy a whole lot between now and then. Here's the list I came up with.

2 Overlord w/scythe, Phaeron, SW, Resorb 165 each
1 Lord w/scythe, MSS, Resorb 90
2 Pulsteks, 55 each
3 Tremorteks, 30 each

8 Tesla Immortals 136
2x16 Warriors 208 each group

6 Scarabs 90
5 Wraiths w/3 whipcoils 205
4 Destroyers, w/2 Heavy 200

2x Annhiliation Barge
Total 1847

What I Have that's not in the list:
15 more scarabs
2 more immortals
10 deathmarks
5 lychguard w/sword and shield
1 Ghost Ark/Doomsday Arc

Royal courts: Overlord and a Pulsetek and Tremortek join each group of warriors. Orb Lord and Tremortek joins the Immortals.

QUESTIONS:
Do I have enough anti-tank in my list?
Do I have enough shooting to take down a hoard-style army?

Thanks for any advice that won't cause me to buy $100 worth of stuff right now. (Yes, many spyders are in my future)

I think that Lord is a hellvua lot of points just to increase R.P by 16%. It's not like the Lord is the nuts in combat either.

The Scarabs are too small number, they will be dead or massively depleted when they reach the enemy. You either need Spyders to make them bigger or just pump up the unit.

Destroyers are a bit meh and pretty expensive; 60 points for a mobile lascannon!

If going fast attack, I would stick with Wraiths when playing Necrons.

To answer you questions; anti tank, you've got 5 ranged units and two close combat ones. You should be ok.

Though can you take down a horde army? That's a more tougher question. I am not sure on that one.

Other than a couple of cases where I've stolen the initiative and wrecked a few vehicles on turn 1, I haven't had a lot of luck with my scarabs. Granted... it's mostly because I don't have any spyders to support them with (both in making more bases and charging into combat).

I'd like more wraiths, but I'm converting them myself and won't be able to get the materials for another squad before the tourney.

There is a very good 'Nid player in the area, and I didn't fair well against him the last time we played. My troops really will need to be able to take care of themselves (thus the reason for the Orb Lord in with the Tesla Immortals). He adds just that edge of resiliency (and a power weapon).

@Zid... that's understandable since I'm largely playing with the figures I have.

It's not Tremor, I don't have a C'tan.
It's not Gunline, I don't have Stalkers.
It's not Wraiths... I only have 5.
It's not scarab Farm, I don't have any Spyders.

My only suggestion is to trade 2 or 3 of the tremor teks for lance teks. That would help you in the 36" AT department.

Other than that, I like it. It is nice and diverse and will be able to handle many different threats. Play it well and you should do just fine.
