Farseer w/Fortune, Guide, RoW, SS

Wraithguard (10) Spiritseer w/Conceal
Dire Avengers, (10) Exarch w/PW and Shimmershield

Wraithlord BL, Starcannon
Wraithlord BL, EML

Total 999

Wraithlords hide behind the Wraithguard for the cover save. Anything that gets within the 12 inches of the wraithguard is paste. The Dire Avengers can camp a home objective, hide behind the brick, or flank and harrass, depending on terrain/scenario.

Are two BLs for shooting any tanks at the 1k level enough? With an EML and a Starcannon to back that up vs termies or transports?

5 KP and 24 models makes a small 1k army. Too small?

Ideally, the BLs can take out LRBT threats, if any at the 1k level, and the Dire Avengers can lay down a larger number of shots on a guard army than the wraithguard alone can.

Is it worth dropping a Wraithlord for a scatterlaser walker, do you think?

I assume you have runes of warding and not runes of witnessing on your farseer? If not, make his runes warding.

Change the starcannon to an EML on the lord. Saves a few points, and adds some more anti tank. Make sure your taking flamers instead of shuriken catapults on the lords as well.

Give the farseer a singing spear if you have points. Wraithguard suck in CC anyways, so trading an extra attack for a spear thrown in with the wraithcannons is good. Also some more anti tank punch.

Otherwise, I like it. You may be able to pick up guardians an an extra warlock for cheaper than avengers, and that would work just fine as your second troops choice.

I agree with Dr. Serling that guardians as a second troop would be better at holding objectives. If you keep the dire avengers, then I would suggest giving them defend in case they do get assaulted.

The wife ran this list last night and tabled my guard. Her 24 models cleaned my 64 models, even with that few shots. It was disgraceful.

For me, not her Eldar.

I've always wanted to run 10 wraithguard...

I would say ranged mech armies would be a problem, but if the list tabled guard... (Assuming you were trying your best to defeat the list )

As said before, guardians to camp at home would be better. Throw on a scatter laser for some more firepower, or an EML

Starcannon is absolutely terrible. Bright lances are extremely expensive. Your farseer is too expensive, you have no units benefitting greatly from guide.

I would make the wraith lords + farseer much cheaper to get another MC in. Ex:
Avatar (155)
Farseer, fortune, RoW, RoW, spear (113)
10 Wraithguard, spiritseer, conceal (396)
10 Guardians, shuriken cannon (85)
Wraithlord, 2 flamers, EML, sword (125)
Wraithlord, 2 flamers, EML, sword (125)
(999)

This army should do very well in KP missions. The guardians are the softest KP, and when reserved and played defensively, it is hard to take out 10 guardians.

In objective missions, the guardians reserve and score home objective while the blob and friends go hunt enemy/midfield objectives. 10 Wraithguard can hold several objectives and will be very hard to shift. Their main issue is close combat, and with the avatar and two wraithlords to back them up, there is little that can actually touch them. Even assault termies will get knocked around.

The list lacks long range anti-tank, but then again, so does the initial list. 2x more brightlances for 80!!! pts does not anti-tank make. Both the avatar and the wraithguard are dangerous to tanks at 12" though, and everything but the guardians will rip apart tanks in close combat.

Russes are not scary for this list. Proper spacing means they can hit 3 wraithguard with a blast. You will have 4+ cover most of the time and at minimum 5+ cover. Guard also can't stop fortune, so that means that 0.6/1.1 wraithguard die per S8 AP3 big blast that hits. 2 russes that hit every turn will use 5 turns to kill the wraithguard if you do not have proper cover.
