I've been off for a long while, working on a project - just something fun to take the mind off of serious stuff. Then I stumbled on humour threads called '[insert name here]Quest'. I based this project on quest threads and other interactive type threads across several forums, then I threw in some Warhammer 40k, what came out was a humorous (to me at least) scenario.

I call it 'Questhammer 40k'. Here's an example;

You are the chapter master of the Rising Sons chapter of the Adeptus Astartes, operating out of the sub-sector Yamato. this can be anything from, from the commander of a hunter cadre to an Ork warboss. what we do is up to you. Just give a suggestion, most popular one gets done. Just be aware of one thing;

Location – The Harbinger of Blood

Your ship is currently in the warp, waiting for an opportune moment to reveal yourself to the Sub-sector Ollmont. You yourself, the chaos lord Armakhin, sit upon an Iron throne in the bridge, wearing a dark blue robe. The door slides open and in steps a single Chaos Marine. It’s your advisor Mordarth

“My lord.” He says promptly, bending to one power armored knee “The cultists have managed to set up a foot-hold in Menae's capital spire, as you ordered.” You rise from your command throne and make your way to the door

“Good.” You say “Tell them I will have further orders when the main force arrives.” The door once again slides open as you make your way to the armory, Mordarth rises and makes his way to the hold, where the sorcerer Mynark waits

“Of course, my lord.” He as he walks away “As you command.”

You enter the armory to find that the heretek Andorsh busy repairing a gouge in your armor, he turns quickly as the door opens

“M-my lord!” he stutters “I t-take it you’re here for your equipment?” you stride past him, and reach out to your armor, this suit of Mark IV ‘Maximus’ armor has been yours since the great crusade

“When will it be fully repaired?” you ask, glaring at the fallen tech-priest “I intend to go to war.” The heretek cringes under your words and accompanying glare

“Within the day, my lord.” He answers quickly, before returning to repairing the armor. You exit and make your back to the bridge, you return to your command throne. You turn the helmsman, knowing that it would be best for the main operation to take place away from Menae, but where?

“Tharnodk! Set a course for….

“Tharnodk! Set a course for Namis!" you roar from your throne, the helmsman, a large man, though still dwarfed by a marine, threw a hand upon his chest and began setting coordinates.

You stand and make you way to the armoury, your midnight blue robes billowing with a non-existent wind. You pass through warped corridor after warped corridor until the armoury doors open to reveal Andorsh still tampering with your armour. He jumps and turns around, nodding his head in respect

"M-My lord, your armour is fixed and ready for war." he says, taking a step away from pedestal, mounted upon it was the 'Maximus' armour. You walk up to it as Andorsh leaves, you quickly change out of your robes and begin to pu your armour on. As you finish the door opens and Mordarth steps in

"My lord, we have reached our destination and a planetary map has been activated. We await the order to begin our shadow war." he says, you follow him and true enough, there is a planetary map set up, with several locations marked in red "The areas in red are, as you know my lord, major locations, such as imperial bases near large settlements."

"I see..." you reply, thinking carefully on where to land "This area looks suitable..."

"That is...."
