so astaroth and the chaplians each go into a death company squad and deepstrike in with the land raiders. Any comments on what ya'll think or would change in this list

You do know Astorath is Jump Infantry and therefore cannot embark onto the Land Raiders? And good luck trying to win in objective games. 25 models in a 2K list is just too few to take, unless you're playing Draigowing of course, but it's just not viable in a BA army.

My recommendations: Drop the Land Raiders in favour of Storm Ravens. Drop a Chaplain and use the points left to give Jump Packs to a unit of DC or two. Combining the units of DC into 2x10 in the Ravens would be ok.

Here's a list I came up on the spot, not saying it's tournament winning, but it could be seen as better than the one you have at the moment.

- Chaplain

- 10x DC
- Storm Raven

- 10x DC
- DC Dread
- Storm Raven

It's not 2K points, but it's just a brief outline of how you could field the DC in the Ravens.

You can always just screen Astorath behind the Land Raider's, you only really brought him to get more DC units.

I'd drop one Chaplain for a Librarian with Shield.

But I also agree with Valkyrie on your unit size. 8-10 DC per unit is more ideal than small 5-man units.

Don't derp strike the Land Raiders. Run them on the board, derp strike and they will scatter and have a huge foot print. Plus you will lose target saturation doing this.

Also ditch the Dreadnought, on it's own it is going to get blown up very quickly. It will come down turn 1 and be unsupported. Use the points from this to add to the Death Company and change the Assault Squads into Scouts, they claim objectives and can get better cover saves thanks to camo cloaks, just keep them in reserve.
