I play Chaos Space Marines and I have always wondered what chaos marks would be the best for smaller 1000pt to 1500pt armies. I have always been for the mark of Nurgle but, as of late I have been versing Eldar, Tau, Necrons, Grey Knights, and Chaos Daemons I have been thinking of using Tzeentch for the invulnerable saves and I just wanted some opinions on the matter.

Chaos is very tricky ... what do you normally field with your list in those point ranges?

Tzeench is only so good. With Terminators they are good ... Ksons are good vs MEQ armies (they are just expensive).

Nurgle is good vs Tau and Eldar ... theirs3 wont do much vs T5

For necrons i say khorn would be the best as you want to assault them ASAP. You just have to weather the wraiths,CCB, Scarabs, and av 13 with shooting.
