Hi guys
I decided to make a competitive build for my army. I searched the internet for something I could build with the least ammount of models I would need to buy and came up with this:

List one is better but I don't like the razorbacks. They are 90 points for an extra TLLC. Dropping them and the extra non-ven dread should let you get a second terminator squad. I would go with more than one chainfist over the neos.

Do you mean running the crusaders without any transports at all? I fear they would be too vulnerable - its only 17 scoring models.

TBH honest i dislike both lists for different reasons. But general AaCnMtO is for assault based armies, drop it for AtWDtW saves you 30 pts.
For the First tlist there are a few minor things and a few huge issues. First of all already mentioned was the AaCnMtO, Second you are wasteing 5 points for one extra wound allocation its not reli needed unless you haad 5 points just laying around. I love the ven dread i run one in my list its key essential in a shooty BT list. Your second Dread though id drop he could not come in til turn 5 and even if he comes in turn 2 ur might pop a 100pt vehicle and then get blown up, ur not getting ur pts worth out of it.id either drop it for another Term squad or more speeders (which ill get to soon). Heres my biggest flaw i see in this list, ur Lazor backs... ur paying 101 pts for ur troops and ur gonna pay 90 points to put them in a vehicle that they cant even fire out of, and if you deploy them out of it theres no point of having it other than the 1 TL LC thats not reli even worth it, so IMHO get rid of all Lazor backs grab rhinos. Quest a side note on this topic, ive found theres no real need for a 3rd squad in 1500pts, For dawn of war you wont even be able to shoot with the one troop the first turn and reli you only need to control 2 objectives as long as you can contest or destroy ur enemy. Landspeeders, yea you need more of em either spend the points saved from dropping the 2nd dread or from the lazor backs into more speeders or 2 vindicators w/ potms.
Ur 2nd list isnt to bad, same thing as b4 lose the AaCnMtO drop the lazor backs and a crusader squad get at least 2 landspeeders, they are more deadly in pairs. And i forgot to mention this b4 but you need a High Marshal in this lis. W/ Kill them All you are going to have to roll a 7 if you want to shoot at a target that isnt closest to you. other than ur terminators ull need an 8 GL w/ that. my shooty lists are more mech to advoid this issue.

I avoid using terminators in low points bc generally they are dead b4 turn 2, with this list its fast alot of anti tank alot or anti horde the Marshal and EC normally sit back in a tank and just chill incase someone gets threw the lines and tehn they assault trying to buy a turn or two.

I kept the drop podding dreadnought because I like the options he gives me - I can contest an objective with the drop pod, destroy an annoying vehicle or tie up some devastator type unit in CC. Also I don´t know when he will come, but neither does the opponent. If he comes on turn 5, he can still contest and possibly win the game. Its a bit of a wild card, but I think I like it.
As for land speeders, I have two now and the assembly is really complicated (I magnetize all the options), so don´t want any more now.
There are two things I am little worried about in this list. First there are only two troops, they seem like easy pickings. Second - the terminators are the only infantry target in the beginning. But those 8 S9 shots are just too good to give up!
What do you guys think?

Not really sure what the Marshal brings to the game. Scrap him. There is no such thing as target priority anymore.
The Drop pod dread is not worth the points. Get a second vidicator for him and get a third troop choice for the marshal.
With this said, Typhoon speeders are horendously undercosted in a BT army so whenever you get the models for more speeders make sure to fit them

Actually for BT target priority still exists in their rule Kill them all. Plus they have to roll for it at -1 Ld.

If you run the terminatlors as a command squad it isn't a bad choice. The whole Kill them all thing was debated to death in YMDC due to it referencing a rule that doesnt' exist so some camps say you have to shoot at the nearest enemy some don't. You also don't really need the EA on the rhinos (that's what I meant about not taking lazerbacks).

Can you point me to the thread please? I have searched YMDC for "kill them all" and all the threads ended by conclusion, that BT do have to take target priority tests.

The issue you have running 1 Vindicator is its gonna b destroyed 1st turn bc thats all they are going to shoot at, plus when you run spearhead games its always nice putting one in reserves.
If you read the FAQ's first page states to "Ignore “and follow the normal rules for target priority in the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook.” in the last sentence." so the ruel would still b valid. EA and smoke isnt needed because all they reli are are a shooting platform for ur weapons inside and you cant shoot after you pop smoke or are shaken. 2 troops is enough as long as you dont charge in with the. Normally in objective games ill place on in a deployment or close enough to one so i dont have to move the entire game.
If you can spare the points grab an orb for the marshal good 1 shoot anti troop and mech. Term Honours not needed, hes just a deterent not to get close and i would give him a PF or TH seeing how ur not getting the xtra attack anyway and this way you can deal with the T5+.
I still dont reli like that dread hes not gonna do much and as stated b4 is unreliable. thats almost the exact same points as a POTMS Vindi.
