here is my current list, im making it like a big meks wet dreams of many types of units and weapons and looty but trying to make it effective as well

(90pts) Big mek, KFF, bosspole
(85pts) Big mek, KFF

Units:
(150pts) 3 killa kans, 1 grotzooka, 1 kmb, 1 rokkit launcher
(150pts) 3 killa kans, 1 grotzooka, 1 kmb, 1 rokkit launcher
(100pts) 1 Deff dread, 2 skorchas, grots, armour
(100pts) 1 Deff dread, 2 skorchas, grots, armour
(90pts) 2 Deffkoptas, 2 rokkits
(175pts) 20 shoota boyz, 2 big shootas, nob, pk, bosspole, eavy(nob only)
(175pts) 20 shoota boyz, 2 big shootas, nob, pk, bosspole, eavy(nob only)
(75pts) 5 burna boyz, 3 meks, 3 big shootas
(180pts)12 lootas
(130pts) 1 looted wagon, boomgun, 2 big shootas, ard

My plan is to have my kans and dreads with the the no bosspole mek form a kan wall with my burna boyz behind them making repairs to the kans and dreads when neaded and to b unloading with the 3 big shootas and as well as all my boyz safe behind the wall and have my mek with bosspole attached with the lootas with the looted wagon near so there all under cover and providing covering fire and a distraction while my wall moves up the board and have the deffkoptas take quick pop shots when they can, will it work? like to get everyones opion on this if it will b effective or not or atleast some what.

I love the Kan wall list. I actually play one.

I do see a few probelms with yours. I am not sure the burnas squad, at least the way you have it is worth it. Might want to think about making them Lootas as well.

Not a fan of the Looted wagon. It is pretty weak unless you keep it with the KFF. The probelm is you want the KFF the Kans and dreads.

The Kans really should be all the same weapons. I prefer either Rokkits or Zookas.

The Dreads I love them. I am not a fan of flamers on them, i prefer double BShootas. same price and can shoot the whole way up the field.

The Koptas should be seperate squads and woukld be nice to have Saws on them to Suicide kill a tank first turn.

AS far as your plan goes. You will not be able to cover all the Kans and 2 dreads with one KFF. The Kans have to have 2 Kans within the KFF range to get the cover. Squadron rules for that and majority rules.

Hope this helps.

Not sure what you expect from the burnas.

Kanz with rockets is important as otherwise you'll struggle to crack armour. Talking of which a buzzsaw on koptas is good, if you must have a unit of 2, give one a saw so it has wound allocation.

Interesting list, I am sure it will do well though.

i here everyone talk about buzzsaw on kopters but are they that good at taking out tanks cause i have never used them? and if so i mite put some on and ya i was hoping on kff mek on the wall would b good but i hear what your sayin and would the group of lootas and 1 looted wagon b ok without the mek in the back just puttin down cover fire?

Thge lootas should be for sure, but the tank is alittle harder to get cover from. So dropping that and adding more lootas is proabbly the best bet for you.

Saw koptas are potentialy great. I haven't really had them do good. But I do see the potential. You have to turbo boost them during the scout move. That gets you within 12" of any tank. Now you get to move 12" fire with rokkit and then assault with a str7 PK. So yes potentially they are awesome. Just stay away from Land raiders as they can't hurt them. But that hard Leman Russ or Pred. Boom! Thye are also nice to tie up a squad of Devs or long fangs.

Leman Russ and even battlewagons with their weak back armour compared to front means it is useful to have a saw.
Also given the high likelihood of the kopta dying, it gives you a second chance. If the rocket stops the tank moving then you come in with the saw and get autohits.

Or on turn 1 if you get to go first, you assault and get 3 autohits as the tank hasn't moved yet. They are pretty good units, but I consider them a crap shoot. Great if you fo first, so-so if you go second. I tend to prioritize them as they do mulch battlewaons and are subsequently shot up. Like Balsak, they don't consistently perform for me so I don't often field them. I find lootas and rokkit buggies to be consistent and reliable.
