Lictors to make sure the Raveners show up fast, Lictors and Raveners lock units till major assault stuff shows or hunt/hold off tanks. Just an idea, and I only need one model to make it work. Let me know what you think.

The raveners should not deep strike, and you should not take lictors in this list most likely. Raveners are so darn fast they should just start on the board if they can (and i'm fairly sure they can do that).

The first rule of genestealer club is: Buy Fleshhooks
The second rule of genestealer club is: Buy Fleshhooks (Yes, on every single genestealer)

There is absolutely nothing more embarrassing than charging a squad of Necrons in cover with a bunch of genestealers and losing 3 guys before you get to fight because you didn't spend 1pt on fleshhooks.

I'm waiting for yakface.....he's the HiveMind I learn from the most. On another note I think warriors are useless could someone come up with a good use for then, armed with what?

Warriors I think the standard fighty fit is:
scything talons, rending claws, leaping, extended carapace.

But I could be misremembering.

I think in a non-shootie list you probably can't afford two HQs, and a flying Tyrant is most likely better than a broodlord.

Fleshhooks.

Melee Warriors also need Adrenal Glands-Ini, as well as Flesh Hooks___going 1st before MEQs, or at least simultaneously with prey in cover, is important to insure those beasts' survival.

I'm no yak, but that looks good to me. With the Lictors you can be sure to get synapse along with your Hormies in escalation. You might find you don't want to deep strike your Raveners.
Warriors...kind of slow IMHO. My guess is you'll be told to run them as big, slow synapse-stealers - +1 I, 4+ save and claws/talons. I've never been brave enough to try a Tyranid melee unit that costs more than ten points and doesn't have fleet - but I know some people have good luck with them. It could also be handy to have an alternate source of synapse in case the Tyrant cops one. Actually, if you do go for synapse-stealers, you might even be better off completely getting rid of the Tyrant - why have one TMC wearing a "shoot me" sign? - edit: and in that case you'd be able to get away without the Lictors since you wouldn't need the reserves rerolls as much.

When soldiers think, it's called routing.

How about taking 5 warp blasts? they are not "guns"

Atleast then you would have something against armour, esp skimmers.

Monoliths are going to be so bad you won't believe it! 2 liths next to each other will make it VERY hard for you to get to the necrons behind!

Also skimmers will tear you apart! land speeders have so much shooting power its not funny! having nothing to take them down.....equally not funny!

Granted warp blasts aren't great against fast skimmers but they are better than nothing.

The Plasma Gun is a game altering force of unspeakable power

I'm redoing the list, it just happened to have no guns it in I was not trying for that. Thanks for the great feedback!
