Hello guys, I'm a 21 year old graduate who has alot of free time and wants to return to a hobby I held dear for many years.

A little about myself, I'm a semi-pro MMA fighter who does pretty well (3-0) so far! But as with any physical hobby I like indulging in laziness, videogames are my primary indulgence but after stumbling past a GW I feel like returning.

However, the prices are INSANE now. I remember when cadians were 20 men a box at the same price. (Hell, I remember when plastic cadians were released)

I've never had a fully painted army and if returning I want to focus on a fully customised, fully painted 500 point force to begin with. I've read about draigowing lists but I don't like GK's.

So basically, my question to you all is: what army packs best points per pound? I have alot of chaos but I kind of want something new.

Thanks and hello!

Servitors and broken jaws.

Wassup, and welcome to Dakka!

MMA, eh? What martial arts do you specialise in? I used to dabble in a bit of kung fu back in the day (I'm guessing you've got some jujitsu going on, seeing as how most fights seem to go to the floor).

One day I plan on getting back into MA (really wanna try out Muay Thai), but back to wargaming...

Far from being an expert on the subject, you can't go too wrong with space marines. If you wanna bag a bargain, try the swap shop on this forum plus there's a lot of stuff on eBay.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
