Howdy, gang. Just thought I'd drop a topic in the intro section here to say hey. I've been playing numerous wargames, including
40k, for about 16-17 years now.
The reason I joined now (other than lurking for the past few years when I'd look at the pretty pictures) is that I've decided to start a Waaaaaaagh.
I've had my orks since 5th came out, but wasn't really interested in them. In fact, I tried to sell them all off about a year ago, but I wasn't about to accept the ridiculously low offers I was getting. Good thing, too. With the advent of 6th, and the ability to double the
FOC at 2k and above, and the loverly new ork fliers, I'm finally excited about the sci-fi greenskins! 6th edition means I get to field my 10 deffcoptas, burna bommer, and the two dakkajets I'm currently scratching/converting! Plus add in some stormboys, and my air force is truly on its way!
Anyhow, I'm sure I'll be getting pictures up eventually of the
WIPs for my flyboys, but until then, I'll hang about and search for suitable inspiration (which hasn't been too hard to find on this site).
