All,

There's a Vogen campaign starting up in my area and we've been doing some practice City Fight battles to prepare.  The majority of the rules translate "ok" into 4th edition and the others are easy to work out with your opponent.  One sticking point I encountered was dealing with multiple barrage weapons.  Does anyone know how you translate the 4th edition rules into city fight?  City fight states to simply pick a target unit, check range, and "roll to hit using the normal rules" (pg 10 city fight).

Here is where I run into trouble understanding it.  If three multiple barrage weapons fire at a unit, 4th edition says to take a ranging shot, and orient the other two shots around the first.  I guess there are a couple of ways to deal with it in City Fight.

1.  Just use BS for all three weapons just like the City Fight ordance weapons rules.

2.  Use the scatter dice for all three weapons, if hits are rolled, applied wounds using the City Fight template rules.

3.  Attempt to use the 4th edition rules, roll scatter for first shot, and then orient the other two around the first.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Pete

I agree with Bloody T.  The rules on Page 10 seem to imply that each weapon rolls separately (they use the example of Ork Lobbas, and I don't know if they're bought as batteries).  Since they have removed templates all together in City Fight, each weapon that hits would roll d3 hits, if you miss, there is no effect from that weapon (no scatter).

At least that's my take on it.

See you in the trenches
