So I got the new Mantic newsletter in my e-mail today and saw where they are making the corporation Zombies a permanent item and they are being spearheaded by a new leader model named Mortis. Looks pretty interesting to me. What do you guys think?

Mortis reigns terror and destruction in the wake of wherever his ship takes him, hordes of brain-dead Marines never far behind.

Looks like a Veer-myn.... (hunched pose, big feet)

I like the character himself, but the weapon sculpts look just awful to me. I want to like it, but the weapons, especially the scythe type weapon, are just ruining it for me the more I look at it.

Actually isn't it just this Veer-myn model with a different head and weapon (and different paint job obviously)?

It seems you are correct, hadn't noticed that. I guess thats how they were able to get it out so fast. It would be cool if they sold the model with both options so you could get some extra bits.

As someone else said, its more of a scythe/sickle (unless you meant the gun?)

Like the look of it, except for the scythe. Lord, that needs to be redone. Then again, I'll make a determination when I get it. I already have 80 zombie marines...
