Just curious if anyone was able to tell me where I can get my hands on about 10 of these bad boys? Wanna kit them out on my veterans but no idea where to get them.

Thanks

Do you mean specifically the Armageddon pattern autoguns that say the Chaos Cultists models have, or just any solid slug weapon>

The Forgeworld Chaos Renegades have a weapon set that includes six.

Maxi-Mini make a few sets. Ak-47's, Bullpups, M4's and Tommy Guns (half of the set are based on Lasguns)

The Assault Group sell real world rifles from the past century (there's too many to list), though the quality varies.

Hasslefree Miniatures sells sci fi and real world guns, again the quality isn't as good as the first two

Heresy Miniatures does to, though their range is mostly filled with pistols

I was thinking the autoguns from GW. I've seen a number of great conversions done (usually IG veterans) that have used them and was wondering if there was any website you could buy those ones specifically.

However that being said, the second website you gave me is great, and may just work perfectly! Thank you

Unfortunately you can't get the Armageddon pattern autogun outside of the Chaos Cultists and Renegade Weapon sets. They were originally from the Necromunda range as part of its weapon sprue, and still feature on the models that GW sell, but are largely out of production. I managed to make a squad's worth out of lasguns before I just started using Maxi-Mini's Ak's, too much effort converting them. I'm guessing that most conversions were using the Necromunda sprue, which goes for silly money these days. =P

I would note with the Ak's from Maxi-mini if you go for them. One of them appear to have a folding stock, but in actuality this is a casting error. It was originaly meant to have the stock extended apparently. You'll need to scrape it off, so you're better just asking for all of your order to feature the full stocks instead. The Bullpup's can be a bit of a hassle too. Not that the model's are bad, just that finding arms can be a bother as you'll probably be required to resculpt a set to get a decent fit. However as third part bits sellers go their one of the best (I can't give a bad word for the quality of the Heresy ones either). ^^

Do you have any images of any of your models featuring the AKs? Or any of the guns for that matter?

The gunner here has an AK with an Anvil Industry sight, but I couldn't find any links at hand. They're the same size as lasguns, so bulkier than real life AK-47's, but they fit the models well. If you want realistically sized Aks go to the Assault Group

Not the best picture, but the end of that gun is an Assault Group AK.

If you want to save a bit of cash and convert your own from standard lasguns i've done a conversion that you may find useful.

Top is astandard lasgun
2nd is a riflle w/flashlight,
3rd is a rifle w/scope
4th is a SMG with tactical scope. (i've converted all my guardsmen to have these)
5th is a massive desert eagle like hand gun
6th is stub pistol...

And yet they all use lasgun magazines...

To me all but the last would still count as lasguns. Visually you aught to go for something that differentiated more from the original model.

My apologies for offering an alternative...

If the magazines irk you that much fill them in with LGS or something. Its really just a few simple conversions to help make them stand out from the bulk of the other cadian armies out there.

I have a PILE of Space Marine Scout shotguns kicking around... easy enough to remove marine hands, clean up and use.

The hasslefree weapons are great. i don't know where you got the idea that they are low quality. casting is precisead detail is crisp. They are more realistically scaled than GW weapons however. I've used them extensively on my Guard force.

How about some of these:

They also do accessories like sights, magazines and so on.

Driven away from WH40K by rules bloat and the expense of keeping up, now interested in smaller model count games and anything with nifty mechanics.

I like the armored IG look. And the camo is superb. I once made a squad of Nordian Berserkers (line drawing from the 3rd ed IG codex) out of Mordheim mercenaries and some IG bits, along with a sprue or two of the old autoguns I bitz-ordered from GW at the time. They were stolen, for some reason, and I thought I'd never be able to recreate them, but that FW cultist accessory is just the thing I need. I'm glad I popped in this thread.

Where did you find these bullpup designs? I've looked at hasslefree and can't find them anywhere, are they an older line maybe discontinued?
