I run 3 d-cannons in my eldar army, so people rarely come to that side of the field. Should I be more aggressive with them in the early turns and try to get them in position? I also run a ADL that they tend to stay behind. Should I just play the defenseline further up and move up first turn? advice would be much appreciated

Unless you are facing a hyper aggressive army which you know will run into range of your guns turn 1 its generally a good idea to place the Aegis line 6" forward from your DZ. That way you can push forward to it turn one and give yourself good board control. D Cannons are great for this, any vehicle that wanders into range pretty much dies instantly, and they mess up any heavy infantry as well. I wouldn't want to be moving them more than once though (unless they literally have no targets). Really this is a very hard question to answer because it changes completely based on the army you are playing against and the mission you are playing.

Thank You! I will have to try that out. I love the d-cannons and I feel they are a great addition to the army.
