My question is how should they be used, what load out should they have, and what army type should they be used in. Their is also the debate as to whether devastators are better or not. If anyone has any advice or tips on these units please leave a comment.

The short answer is use attack bikes instead. They can get FNP love, making them much more durable than land speeders.

To me, land speeders and devastators are both "no takes" for the BA.
