Work in Progress Soul Grinder~

First time painting a soul grinder, still have lots to work on like the metal is not really metallic enough.
Need to do some wear and tear, some highlighting etc...

Let me know what else you think I should work on this~

It may be the camera angle but is the sword black? if so i think it would be better off either green or purple. Probably purple to contrast with the white and gold. Looks good!

It is a black metal color with some silver wearing on it.

I might be doing flames from green stuff to add to it though.

I did think of using purple instead, but the texture of the sword didn't really feel purpley, might try something out though~

I'm guessing it looks better when there's light on it AKA from above. The shadow hides the metallic-ness of it.

The way I would do the purple is to replace the silver with purple. that way the black contrasts with the white and (gold is a shiny orangey brown colour) the purple would contrast with the cold.
