Looking for 40k, BFG and Flames of War gamers around Charleston SC. Our group mostly plays Battlegroup Overlord in 15mm by Ironfist Publishing now. Also interested in Axis and Allies or Bolt Action in 15mm.

There is a pretty good size group that plays at hobbytown USA in West Ashley off Sam Rittenburg Blvd. We meet at three on saturdays. Threre is a pretty good mix of armys that play. Our group consists of mostly casual gamers.

It is Hobbytown USA in Sam Rittenberg. Not sure if you have tried it, but on Saturday's around three you will find people playing there. There is also a Charleston Area Warhammer 40k facebook group.

Hey all, I just moved from DC to Hilton Head and am looking for a casual group of gamers to play with. This is a little bit of a drive for me, but if someone would want to meet up for 2 or 3 games I'd be happy to do 1k to 1.5k.

Hilton Head is a beautiful area. If I recall correctly there is a game store or club that meets locally on Buckwalter Parkway off of Fording Island/278. It is run out of an old flower shop transitioning to a proper store-front. While I have not found a website for them I have found a facebook page. Link provided below.

I am loving the area, a bit slower in pace than what I am used to, but fun none the less. Thank you for the link btw! It is only 20min away from where I live so that would be perfect for me. Going to try and see if they have a local gaming community.

I'm here for a few months on job business. Anybody play infinity around here? I really want to get some time in with that game.

Like watching other people play video games (badly) while blathering about nothing in particular? Check out my Youtube channel: joemamaUSA!

Your best bet would be to go to The Green Dragon located near Northwood's Mall (in North Charleston) and inquire about Infinity players. War-machine and Hordes are the big games at that store, but it has others. I played DZC there a number of times, they have Malifaux in stock, a good sized X-Wing and Star Treck Attack Wing crowd, get Historical players on occasion, and I think they added Deadzone recently.

Huh, that place is about 9 minutes from my apartment. I didn't know there was a pretty cool looking game store so close. I'll stop by this afternoon and check the place out. The fact they do not sell Infinity models does not really fill me with hope, but we will see.

Shamelessly bumping my own thread. Currently we have a regular group of four guys that try to play weekly at eachothers houses. We are getting back into 40k with 8th edition and looking at 30k. We play Bolt Action in 15mm and 20mm as well as the Battlegroup WW2 wargaming rules and its multiple iterations in 15mm scale. we also dabble in Sharp Practice for the American Civil War in . We have a few and are open to board games generally playing Axis and Allies. we also like x-wing and Star Wars Armada.

we like to bs and bring beer as much as we like to paint and play games. the only stipulation is playing with painted armies on legitimate tables and not being weird.

send me a PM if you are interested in getting together with us.
