In the Centre the Kroot with Pathfinder fire support see off the Tankbusters and move to invest the
HQ objective, that was easy!!!!!

On the left the hammerhead and Fire Warriors quickly destroy and see off the Kopters who hide behind the fort. The Pathfinders come under fire from buggies
and The Ork tank are nearly destroyed.
Middle Stages
On the left the Hammerhead and Broadside move to fire very long range through the fort at the Orks in the centre(mmmm superior weaponry arhhhh!)
The Kroot 1 hold the objective with a warband in support but take serious damage, the Buggies and Tank trade fire with the approaching Devilfish
which slinks about holding its payload of warriors in its hold.
The Storbomyz move to the centre and the Bikerz and Trukk outflank the fort.

The Ork force of the Boyz, dwinderling Kans, Gretchin and Burners are closing fast. The Devilfish disembarks its warriors and the second Battlesuit team
plays havoc with its flamers on the right side of the
HQ
Late Stage
In the centre the second Kroot take the objective with the
HQ Suits and both are seriously mauled by lots of angry and shooty Orks,
The hoard now take damage but stomps onward, the Tau force has now taken heavy infantry casualties.
The Bikerz are neutralized in hand to hand by a lone Fire Warrior( Har Har looses) and the Buggies are destroyed by the devilfish
which races over to the Stormboyz and routs them from er behind....yes i know what i just said.
The outflanking trukk now firmly in Tau territory is destroyed with a single Broadside Shot but has already disgorged its Sluggas which in turn are burnt and shot to pieces (barbecued Ork.....taste like chicken so i have heard)
End game.

A few Kroot and the single
HQ suit hold the objective and are assaulted by the
Ork Warlord and its few surviving bodyguard and Gretchin mob!!!!!.Heroes on both sides trade blows, technology vs bad breathe on top of the
HQ, the Warlord loses and routs....GET AMOUNGST
IT!!!!!!!!!!
The Tau are joined by a second Fire warrior team which is about to climb into the Fortress

While virtually the entire Ork army which never uses loo paper is routing the anal retentive Tau collectively unclench and breathe a sigh of releif.......
FOR THE GREATER GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After thoughts
Tau.
I forgot to fire and use abilities loads of time.....well its my first game with them. On the left the fire warriors were left sitting there for one whole turn and it would have cost me game if the
HQ suit routed. I imagined the Tau would markerlight the orks and shoot them to pieces but it didn’t really happen....it was very bity throughout...even the twin linked broadside
missed.
Looser Ork player.
Killa Kans with no flamers...how things would have been very different if they had them....the Burner Boyz were routed and did not play much part in frying
HQ. Bikerz routed by a single Tau...didnt see that coming. But the Gretchin
did sterling work, they made it to the objective!!!!!!
We both thought it was great the game ended with the heroes fighting it
out mano o mano on the roof top.
