Hey guys, thanks again for taking the time to read and reply too this post in advance!. I came across another thread on here and a few posts on it were some people were talking about a certain company and how they loved the miniatures but due too them being "true 28mm" scale that they would have no use for the miniatures and would not buy them.

I know that when i do first come out with my first miniatures alot of my customers will be using them for all sorts of games and of course just for collecting. I however had a set scale for my miniatures being 30mm from feet to head for the average human miniatures, and my first range being non human they will be exactly from feet to the top of their head 38mm in height. My real starting range and aim is going to be for Sci Fi ish style miniatures, though their will also be a feel of post apoc , some fantasy feelings as well mixed in with a few other geners ( i added this in so their is no confusion what my range will be).

I am interested in hearing your thoughts of my base 30mm scale? Do you feel that if you like my miniatures and want to purchase them, that , this scale will be suitable? Now also before anyone asks about "Heroic" scale, my miniatures will be true scale miniatures with no gigantic hands, massive out of scale heads and small torso's. I personaly feel this is an art style and not much of a scale and it does not fit my taste and from what i have seen from many members on this and other forums , is not the style of miniatures people want. Now i am not trying to hate on that scale its just not too my taste and i think is all in a personal prefrence of choice.

So what i want to hear is your thoughts on what you feel about my company going with true scale 30mm figures instead of true scale 28mm or true scale 32mm? Again i thank you all in advance for your feed back, i am very interested in listening too the community because i do feel that it is only common sense and good for your company to listen too what your market wants and what the community feels on things instead of what some companies we find do !.

Please tell me you are making Modern Military Figures....
I would love to see plastic US special ops forces...Russian Spetnatz, Somali insurgents...All in plastic and interchangable!
And 30mm scale is fine by me -- if they are true scale, they will match up with our GW figs just fine...

30mm from foot to head is about 28mm. Model soldier scales are usually measured to the eyes.

It's almost impossible to say without actually seeing the miniatures.
