Really like the dark reapers, always had a soft spot for them.

why the empty serpent?? wouldnt you be better with replacing that and the 20 left over points for another warpspider unit, warwalkers maybe?

Thank's for the comment, the Wave Serpent was not initially empty, though! It is in the list to protect the Dark Reapers from taking wounds from enemy shooting first turn. Once they get out, it is an extra Serpent that the Dire Avengers can get into if need be and just some extra fire support. The Dark Reapers then have a reliable 2+ cover save (Conceal/Aegis) and a Tau Commander tanking for them.

And yeah, not many people feature Dark Reapers but with a Tau Commander, I'm upset I can't fit a full 10 man unit in the list =(.
