This is a log I may, or may not, update frequently. I've fairly recently started collecting a Guard detachment to serve as Allies to my Sons of Tyr DIY chapter, and as these things tend to go, once you've started it's hard to stop. Fluffwise I'm still in the conceptual stages of the Headhunters of Charon, but they are basically a regiment of Imperial Guard raised from a toxic deathworld (Charon) on the far eastern edges of Ultima Segmentum. Their proximity to the areas of operation of the Sons of Tyr mean that the Guard are used to fighting aside, or in support of, the Sons in their battles against alien races as yet unknown to the rest of the Imperium.

I've finished the first part of an infantry platoon, but I have two more infantry squads ready to join this platoon soon as I've finished painting them. I'm intending this to be an infantry/artillery-heavy army, with a Leman Russ Executioner and a couple of Vendettas thrown in for good measure. If they're not allied to my Marines, they'll have allies from C:GK to represent Ordo Xenos agents, without using actual Grey Knights.

Beta Squad:

Anvil Platoon, Command Squad:

...a grunt from Alpha squad and a friend he met on his travels (took this mainly to see if I got the truescaling right):

Any C&C welcome.
