In my short time out in phoenix, I really liked imperial outpost. I still wish i could head out that way. they even had a military discount. i showed up with a 40k army, and the person working at the store arranged a game for me with one of the regulars. very welcoming!

It depends on what side of the valley you are on.
I live on the West side and I cant say I'm fond of Imperial Outpost. Don't get me wrong the owner is a nice guy but the regulars have hygiene issues.
Games Depot is probably the best in the valley to me because the owners are SO enthusiastic about gaming.
Empire Games is the LARGEST and has the most table space I've seen outside of a battle bunker. They have a wide selection of minis and battle foam, and the staff is pretty good.
Pop Culture Comics near ASU started to carry 40k, not sure where they went with it.
Gamers Den has an established community but there isnt much table space and half of the store is an internet cafe.

I have conceded that the Eldar page I started in P&M is their legitimate home. Free Candy! Updated 10/19.
