Have only played one intro game and thought up this list from what I learned over the last few weeks...

HQ: Warboss, attack squig, twin linked shoota 80
Troop: 5 Nob bikers, 1 pk, 5 shoota/rokkits 275
Troop: 30 shoota boyz, 3 big shootas 195

Its exactly 500 points.

Firstly your warboss isnt going to hit nothing with that shoota so I'd loose it and try scrap up some points for a power claw. Also I think that that your nobs are going to die to easily and not do enuogh damage for the amount of points that you invested in them. You would really need to tave a painboy in there to maxamise there use (I understand your only on 500 points. With the boys and warboss on foot they wont keep up with the nobs. Let me know what stuff you have. I'd suggest something like this:

Hq: Warboss with mega armour 100
Troops: 30 shoota boys, nob, pk boss pole
Troops: 30 shoota boys

I understand that you probably dont have that many boys. It would be good to know what you have to play with. For a new player thats actually pretty good
