Hello Dakkadakkians! With the recent Feast of Blades tournament being announced I will be partaking in this even next weekend at another FLGS with the intention of going to Denver to play. I will be running my Elysians out of the Imperial Guard Codex with some "Tau Allies", (I will be using Guard Models to represent my Allies to keep the image of an Elysian Army, the thread on it can be found here for more http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/538244.page.) TOTAL ARMY:1850 POINTS.

Tactics:

-Company Command Squad with the Fire Warriors, Fireblade and Missile Sides sit in the Aegis Defense Line and provide a powerful firebase along with my tanks being on the field as well giving me alot of potential to do damage before my Vendettas arrive.

-x3 Veteran Squads mounted in Vendettas to fly in on turn 2 and wreck anything they come across. Plan is for these guys to zoom around and deposit troops on objectives towards the end of the game.

-The Fire Warriors will be represented by some of my Elysian Drop Troops with "Hot Shot Lasguns" or the Sniper from the Elysian FW model range and will provide a solid firebase along with my Fireblade who will be attatched to them on the Quad Gunn.

-I am taking x3 Tauros Buggies from FW and with the help of some nifty conversion work will represent x3 Pirahnas with fusion blasters to add on to the recon fluff of this spearhead unit. I am a big fan of the Elysian Tauros buggie models and this gives me the excuse to use them. The conversion will make them the proper size so I have no one crying that I am modeling for advantage, check the modeling URL at the top for more.

-x3 Missile-Sides with Drones along with x2 "Drop Tanks" to lay down a lot of firepower against my opponents. The Eradicators have been fantastic against Aegis Defense Line armies which I expect many, that and the front armor 14 is a huge pluse. The Missile-Sides will be great at adding some additional long range firepower to my list and with x2 having target lock it will allow me to potentially wreck three vehicles a turn. .
