Hey guys, this is how my current 2000 point Tau/Guard list is shaping up and I would love to hear your thoughts on the list:

HQ - Ethereal

Troops - 9x Fire Warriors w/Devilfish

Well, do you really need this small Necron detachment?
I'd consider an Overlord w/ CCB, 2x5 Necrons in Nightscythes, 1 Annihilation Barge or Doomscythe.

Personally I would drop the Necron detachment and pick up some Marker Drones/Pathfinders. Don't see how/why/where that small detachment will come in and work w/ your list. If it is the Flyer, Doesn't the Tau flyer have the same armor, 4 S7 shots (but also have 2 seeker missles and a burst cannon) and also gets decoy launchers for minimal points.

I think you would be better off with interceptor on the riptides rather than skyfire.
I mean, what with the two skyrays you already have.
