Ladies / Gents,

I remember reading an article a few months back that showed over the last couple of years the position of sales of games systems by independent retailers (I believe in the US)....

Fantasy Battle (GW) had slipped considerably.......40k at no1 etc...

Does anyone have a link to this article?

Adam, I'd look into the source first mate before basing any academic work on it.

I believe that ICV2 is a marketing/sale organisation that publishes data from interviews with selected stores rather than a sample of whole market sales. The biggest certainty about it is that it does not include direct GW sales.

It still may be useful but worth being in mind incase you base a whole study on it.

What he said, although given the number of independent, limited liability and sole trader businesses in this sector, from manufacturing through to retail, it will be nigh on impossible to get a thing better than this without hundreds of hours of leg work.
