Nice battle report I enjoyed watching it.

My thoughts (take with a pinch of salt as I am not a competitive player, and I also play DE and nids!):

-I would have split Typhus off from his Zombies in Turn 4. If you had done that, he could have gone to contest the centre objective (number 3?) that the marines held at the end.
-I think charging the Screamers right down the middle at the start of the game was a mistake. With their speed, I would have gone on the left flank and softened up the marines there, then worked towards the right flank. This would have limited the amount of fire brought to bear on them.
-Those Legion of the Damned did we to hold of 30+ zombies for 3 turns of combat! Very impressive.
-The Storm Talons didnt seem to do too much this game, though it could have been unlucky dice.

Thanks for the comments, they are always welcome.

I was playing the Chaos side and your right I should have split typhus off as it took him far to long to get into engagement with the LOTD, I'd engaged them on turn 3 and on turn 4 really want to split off but couldn't. I didn't use him well this game but I generally find him hard to use, I take him for the ZOmbies and plague marines but haven't found the right way of opperating him as yet.

I moved the screamers out front because I wanted to draw fire from the prince and Daemonettes who were also moving up, I couldn't afford to wait another turn before advancing as I felt his firepower would overwhelm me if I waited. They had the 4+ cover save with Tz re-roll 1's but I rolled shockingly, I had expected at least a couple of screamers to survive. Still they did draw a huge amount of his fire allowing my other CC elements to survive.

I found the LOTD combat frustrating as I hit them around 18 times in the first round of combat and a fair amount after that but I just couldn't get the 5+ needed to wound, I wasn't even making him make saves, I was lucky elsewhere but here my luck failed me as 5 space marines aren't difficult to kill. Even when Typhus got into range he just couldn't wound them, it was silly.

The talons were pretty good, their main contribution was in whittling down the plague marines and finishing off the Heldrake, they should have hurt the prince when they came on but my saves were on fire for that guy, the only wound he took all game was from his own Daemon weapon
