Mission: The Scouring
Deployment: Hammer and Anvil
Night Fighting: Yes

We brought the points down a bit after our last match because the idea was it would let us run slightly silly uncompetitive lists. Well apparently only I got the memo and brought a Dreadnought heavy list, whereas my good old Eldar buddy decided otherwise. Feel free to boo him in the comments (that'll teach him for leaving Dakka to me!).

Ignore cover? What cover would they get anyway? The tfc is barrage and you measure from the template not from the cannon itself

I remember that we had a little chat about that at the time and looking back I think you're right. They weren't in area terrain they were behind line of sight blocking which doesn't matter to the TFC now so either way no cover...oh well.

They could have had a 5+ from shrouded thanks to night fighting. The firing model was 24" away so while wound allocation uses the center of the blast marker they still could get +2 cover. Either instance sees them using 5+ saves (s6 ap5 or s5 ap6 ignores cover) so really a moot choice.

Been out of the game for awhile, trying to find time to get back into it.
