As a long time Eldar player and having played a lot of mechdar in 5th edition, I'm still shocked GW made the Wave Serpent so darn good in 6th. You're army looks just like your 5th ed list minus the Farseer and Windrider squad.

Another close one! The Heldrake taking out the windriders was clutch and as usual Typhus was a beast.

Seriously though we as players need to get away from "cheese hammer" it's boring to watch, fight against, and in general talk about (what do you think my list needs? Uhhh more spam I guess?) lol.

Badsheep like many other elder players have been playing mech elder since 5th edition where that was basically the only competitive way to play elder and even then it was hard to win most games against what was at the time a vehicle spam environment. GW made them uber cheese to sell more wave serpents. Yes the rules make them cheesy as hell but is that going to stop someone playing who has already invested their hobby money into an army they built years before the new codex ? No it wont. What it has done is create a bandwagon just like the greyknights, necrons and tau players.....

Okay, so that board you played on is the reason Tau and Eldar are dominating these days. Put some stuff to block line of sight out there for crying out loud.

Hey guys, thanks for watching the video. I do however want to add a few thoughts. First I would like to say that I built this army in 5th edition well before 6th even came out. This was when I was running my duel autarchs and reserving the entire list. I truly do not own any other Eldar models other then a few HQs that aren't seen in this video. While I agree this list is extremely good and a little over the top, I am not going to go out and buy other units just to make my army worse in the hopes that it's going to be a more enjoyable battle report. I do love my Orks, but sometimes I do like to change it up and make other videos. With all of that said, thanks for still checking out my stuff, and as always... More To Come!

Well, it appears you did add one unit..... Another wave serpent, as a long time follower I believe it used to be 3 davu units 2 FD units a3 prisms and two autarchs.... sadly they reduced points a well as making the WS broken so you can log jam a 6th in there....

Love your reports and don't take the comments personally, I think it's just peoples frustration and reports like this hit a nerve. I really think they need to errata the WS so its a bit toned down, won't happen, but it should.

Have you considered Vid batreping two other players once and a while now that you have the new store? Might be fun and add a bit of variety to your reports page. Just a thought. Keep it up man.

How is your chaos army looking these days?

I had to sell everything I had about 6 months ago. Wife and I came across hard times and I sold a 4x6 table worth of bits. My battlefoam bag and about 6 extra trays. And 2 different armies for a lump of cash. I'm starting from scratch ..and Hate it haha. I have no bits for anything And carrying my stuff ina cardboard box w/ bubble wrap lol.

Badsheep37, as a CSM player who has fought a similar list like yours I would highly recommend you put a lot more LOS blocking terrain on than you already have (like doubling the amount you had from this Batrep),as I have read, I can understand if that is all you have, and no player should hold anything over your list if that is all you have but to make it a more fair fight (as I have said I use non competitive lists against lists like yours, and as a Chaos player I know how frustrating it is to fight this list) please use more terrain to make it more of a fair fight, instead of it becoming of what it looked like as mission: Omaha Beach imo..

I dont want to stick my nose in this pot of worms, but I have played Sheep many many many times. This list is 100% his list since I have known him, going on 2 1/2 years now. Its it competitive, yes. Does it get boring to watch/play against yes. COuld the chaos player of placed everything on one side and used the land raider and zombie blobs to shield his advance and moved as fast as possible ..yes. It is what it is and the calling of names I dont think is fair..but I do agree with giving the "lesser" (and I use the term loosely..not meant as a insult at all) players a chance once in while. Just a old crabby man's Two cents.



added.. Sheep's store is brand new and doing very well. In his defense as far as terrain goes They only have X amount for each table.

In that case cant the terrain, be set stretched in the centre of the board to make firing lanes, in which case would be great as both players would have to choose which firing points would be worth firing through, and would add movement to the game imo.
