I took part in my first 1850 tournament last week and for my first game i was against a chaos space marines player. The mission has 3 relics across the table, each worth 6 victory points. I was unsure about my list but i had to work with what i had.

Holy gak did you get lucky that game! Downing the prince in 1 shot, instant killing his lord in 1 shot, wiping his units with minimal effort. Good win, I feel bad for your poor opponent though lol. He brings a fluffy list AND gets bad luck.... ick. I guess thats the best reason for taking a fluff list though, don't expect to have good luck and just have a blast

I did get rather lucky but at least I capitalised on it. I liked the idea of his list and felt a little bad when his army crumbled.
