Hello persons of Dakka! Today I have a battle report I'd like to share with you guys on my gaming group's new Youtube Channel, Basement WarGaming! We only have a few videos up so far but look for more to come, we should have 2-3 more up by the weekend!

After playing about 3 games straight of emperors will my brother and I decided to try out an Altar of war mission, it turned out to be a nice change up from the eternal war categories and I'm really looking foreword to getting some more games in with the different mission types! Check the Eldar battle it out against the invading Nids in the tyranid Altar of war mission type 1: First Contact! ;D

I'm looking foreword to any comments you guys have on the mission type, how the New Tyranids played out (my brother is still working out all of the kinks), and our Channel!

Hi guys..

Good first video bat rep. Nice high production values, fairly good angles. The only slighty negative feedback I have to offer is that the camera was a bit shaky at times. Also, I know there is a tendency for bat-rep narrators to try and adopt a matter-of-fact speech pattern to conceal the jitters. But the danger of doing that is that you risk coming across as bored. And there was a couple of times when you didn't sound like you were enjoying yourseves at all.

Overall all though, a good report. Looking forward to the next one.
