I probably should have asked this months ago, in retrospect.

Does anyone have any advice for getting the Enforcers Missile Launcher model to actually sit in his base? Mine just sort of floats on top of it because it won't go down. I tried trimming the base with a knife, but I can't actually get around the feet without using more force than I'm comfortable using.

Is this your first model?

Either trim the rim or just cut him off the integrated base entirely and glue him to the flat side of the 25mm base.

Heating him up with a hairdryer until the knife goes through restic like butter will help with the force issue.

If you aren't comfortable using enough force on the trickier trim across the bottom of the feet (which does sound like your knife isn't sharp enough) use a needle file or a metal nail file and just file in from the edge using the bottom of the foot as a guide for the edge of the file.

Definitely chop off the integrated base. That's the most pain in the ass model we get.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Another option: Flip the base over and glue the integrated base onto the completely flat surface.

You can then use sand and/or something like pumice gel or larger gravel glued to the base to build up so he doesn't look like he's on a pitcher's mound.

If you are cutting it off (I ended up doing it), it's worth soaking the base in very hot (not far off boiling, I found), water first.

In my personal opinion, genuinely don't worry about the 'platform shoes' once based up appropriately, you can't really tell.
