Ladies and gentlemen, it is spring and the new edition of Warpheim is upon us!
Rules have been updated based on feedback and playtesting, world-building fluff has been added, and new problems have been created that will have to be solved in the next edition.
Just kidding. Nothing has been updated and we only want your money. Trust no one.

This is awesome. I'd totally play it, but probably won't, since none of my friends speak english.
Still. Awesome. And now with pictures.

You are most kind. Though we have great respect for the Cult of Mammon, we are Illuminati space lizards and have no true need for human currency at this temporal juncture. We humbly request that you consider making a small donation to Doctors Without Borders instead. They do good work.

We will be focusing on translations next year. What languages do your friends speak?

And what better way to praise her then by bringing chaos to this new work in her name? Playtesting for the next edition has already begun. Anyone who wishes to be a part of the evolution of a living game can head on over to http://www.reddit.com/r/Warpheim/comments/224ucn/official_playtesting_and_suggestions_thread_for/ where we're using the Reddit voting mechanic to organize playtester input.
Warpheim will be growing and evolving nonstop for the next 25 years. Hopefully when the dust has settled we will all be left with the perfect beer-and-pretzels skirmish game we always dreamed of.

I should have added a . I've visited Warpheim in a previous life and wanted to bump you so that others could share my miserable experience.

French, French, and a bit of French. I'm the self-appointed translator of the group. I'm also always the one who brings all these annoying untranslated foreign games to the gaming table in the first place.

The experience of reading this book is something I am sad I did not have earlier in my life, though I think the act of reading it has retroactively caused me to have already read it in the past. So now I am no longer sad.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better. |

Magnifique!
