Game 1,2 and 4 list:
Nids: 1 Hive tyrant, 1 x 3 warriors with deathspitter, 1 x 12 gaunts with devourer
BA: 1 Mepshiston, lord of kickass, 2 x 5 Assault marines with powerfist and melta.
Results: BA wins all 3. 2 were closely won, 1 was a stomping.

Game 3 and 5 used different lists that are too long to list, and I dont remember them.
Only important info? He picked Mephiston.
Results: BA wins all.

So.
BA: 5
Nids: 0

Now. I need help.
I cant kill mephiston. I just cant. Its impossible.
What good against him? I figured AP2 weapons would be good. because a rain of hvy venom cannon, devourers and deathspitters do nothing but make him laugh.

Any suggestions? also, I think im gonna switch my warriors for a bunch of genestealers.
Suggestions?

Maybe some Ymgarl Genestealers, eh? Either that or a new army.

Swap out your tyrant for a flying one and wait for 7th! Ap2 vectors ftw.

Flyrant
Zoan
2x10 gants
Harpy or crone depending on the points you're playing.

Bring deathleaper and give him -D3 leadership then get into a fight with him with any MC that causes shadows of the warp. He will be testing on leadership 6 or less and won't gain str 10 or force weapon activations then you will kill him in one turn of smash attacks since he won't get a save.

OK

Use the Deathleaper like said above combined with the Swarmlord. As long as he it's able to force weapon you the Swarmlord will instant death him.

Turn the hive tyrant into a flying one with 2xdevs, add a tervigon as 2nd Hq, and 2 naked squads of guants. That will rip up 10 marines and 1 special without blinking an eye.
Edit: Just guessing at your point level by the lists you had up. Anyway your best way to deal with Meph is volume of fire. Target him with the flyrant, bubble wrap your tervigon, and just pour shots into him. Dont let him or any of the PF marines get into combat with your big bugs unless necessary.

Mephy's weak point is anyone with 2+ armor. Not a lot of cheap options for that in a nid hive fleet though. You should see how easily a mere 120 points of tactical terminators tear him apart.

Flyrants are unholy abominations in low point games, just don't put him near mephy in case he gets really lucky and grounds you. Have the flyrant go after the rest of his army. Between 12 shots and his ap2 attacks on the charge, a tyrant should easily wipe a 5 man ASM squad before they get their initiative.

Synapsed gaunts or gants can hold him up for a while. Like say, a squad with a zoan or two behind it, while another squad of gants stays away and goes for an objective after mephy is the only marine left alive.
