At last the Blood Angels are in the 7th edition match!

How will they fare, as Mephiston has to take powers from the BRB?

Shall the Dark Eldar -allies cost them the match as they are summoned by the almighty Asurmen himself to fight on the Eldar side?

2000p of pure Maelstrom Mayhem, with loads of CC and surprisingly tough units in both sides!

Interesting report. For filming purposes, it appears the camera pans around a lot which can be a bit distracting; possibly a more panoramic view of the entire tabletop with a bit more narration could solve the issue?

I'm also surprised you lost your Farseer so quickly. Did the Sterngurad drop with all combiflamers? Or, did you just have really unlucky rolls against something like a Combimelta.

One piece that was a bit unclear was the very tall building the Wave Serpent sat on. I don't know how you measured movement from the tall building the the roof of the ruin below it; I can't quite figure out how the DA can ever disembark when the tank moves between these two pieces of terrain. I may be completely misjudging the distance between the two terrain pieces.

Thank you sharing the report.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Distance between the "Tower" and the ruins was exactly 12"...i dropped the DA´s out and moved 12" direct line. I lost the Farseer for the cos i didn´t get Fortune off and Sternguard used wounds on 2+ shots --> just LOADS of wounds and few one´s and twos there...should have killed the bikes instead...well, live and learn...

Thanks. The distance makes it clear.

Very unlucky rolls on your Farseer. You didn't need Fortune on your Farseer if I understood your correctly. In this particular case, I think you should have chosen to Jink, a 4+ cover save. With the Mantle, your cover save would essentially be a 2+ with a reroll. I don't think the Sternguard ammo that wounds on a 2+ also ignores cover, but I can't remember and don't have the book with me. However, if it does, well played on your opponent's part as he found a great counter for the Mantle of the Laughing God.

True, but i think he would have gone with Ignores cover rounds, but i WILL use that tactic next time, against fe. Necrons / CSM, who don´t have Ignores Cover (except Flamers...)...
