Subject: 40K Video Battle Report - 1850pts - Space Marines (Ultra) VS Astra Militarum
Today's mission was a bit of a mash up between maelstrom & Alter of war type scoring.
Each player scores 1VP for controlling objectives at the end of one of their turns and 3VP for controlling them at the end of the game.
The usual secondaries were in play with an additional rule: Decisive Strike that awards a player 1VP for killing three opposing units in a single turn.
I completely agree, I was the guard player in the video and found it a real challenge.
Unless you're a space marine, most units in a lot of armies just can't affect them in any way, its been a long time since I last fought a drop pod army and I learnt alot from the experience.
