Here is what should be placed into the modelling FAQ.

This months issue of Fine Scale Modeller has the best article they have ever written.

I agree. This article could easily become sticky in this section for all to utilize.

I've seen the Reaper Exarch with both weapon options and both look like things you can buy in sex shops. A weapon should not look like this, not even a Emperor's Children weapon. -Symbio Joe

FSM magazine is a fantastic resource. I started subscribing last year and haven't regretted it ever.

Well, I placed the link into a reply at the bottom of the FAQ. Right now editing the FAQ would result in its destruction (thanks to the text mangler), so it's probably the best bet for now.

Remember that the FAQ thread isn't locked. If people find truly valuable modeling/painting/lighting resources, they shouldn't hesitate to reply with a link to the bottom of the FAQ.

yakface's 40K rule #1: Although the rules allow you to use modeling to your advantage, how badly do you need to win your toy soldier games?
yakface's 40K rule #2: Friends don't let friends start a MEQ army.
yakface's 40K rule #3: Codex does not ALWAYS trump the rulebook, so please don't say that!

So now I have no more reasons not get photos onto Dakka...

With the galaxy as large as it is the odds of the average guardsmen seeing and fighting a marine or MEQ are relatively slim. Unfortunately the guardsmen in your (and anyone else who plays IG's) army are the REALLY, REALLY LUCKY ones that fight marines ALL the time...
