To continue the bigger is not always better theme for my Beastman army, the Chaos Ogres.  I do love these guys, they were a blast to convert and paint.  I wanted a good deal of armor on them, and carry over some of themes from the Minotaurs to tie the units together a bit.  Also wanted them with great weapons so there are few very subtle conversions hidden in there too.  Now I see why my friend Butcher likes them so much.  I have plans to add a few more, and some more converting for the expansion.

nice conversions, and very nice paintwork. Personally I'd like to see a little more chaos iconography, if only a few 'borrowed' chaos sheilds worn as shoulder armour or whatever, and I think at least one should have a chaos icon on his belly plate. And maybe a mutation or two, if that suits the rest of the army?

those are great. not very chaos-y, but defintly very nice painting and conversions. I didn't know that the new Ogres can be converted so good.

great work. I think its great that they are toned down. I think a lot f the ogres fighting in chaos armies do it whithout the chaotic motivation of the chaos warriors.

Absolutely fantastic as per usual PsychosisPC, the conversions are subtle but effective. Less definitely is more with these guys.

These look just great.  I think they would fit in to any chaos army without any over-the-top chaos iconography....I mean, they already have the star on the unit standard.

Using converted Ogre Kingdoms ogres for chaos ogres is definately a way better idea than using those horrid "official" chaos ogre models.

    These are superb, but if you want some criticism, maybe add the Blood Bowl Ogre team shoulder pads to the shoulder and a few chaos shields as armor, to continue the chaos theme.

Otherwise, simply fantastic. Good job!

I have to agree with Hubcap.  Those are far superior than the poop that GW craped out not to long ago.  *shudder*
