No one seems to like the Blood Angels. I mean I know they arent what i originally thought of back in 3rd edition when i was going to rhino rush them, but they cant be all bad. And if everyone doesnt really like them then what army should I switch to thats similar in the way the old BAs worked?

I understand that Scissors can beat Paper, and I get how Rock can beat Scissors, but there's no f'n way Paper can beat Rock. Paper is supposed to magically wrap around Rock leaving it immobile? Why the hell can't paper do this to scissors? Screw scissors, why can't paper do this to people? Why aren't sheets of college ruled notebook paper constantly suffocating students as they attempt to take notes in class? I'll tell you why, because paper can't beat anybody, a rock would tear that gak up in 2 seconds. When I play rock/ paper/ scissors, I always choose rock. Then when somebody claims to have beaten me with their paper I can punch them in the face with my already clenched fist and say, oh gak, I'm sorry, I thought paper would protect you, you donkey-cave.

4th ed Marines (very good) + Baals + Death Comp + Free Furious charge = you got it. One of the contenders for strongest army in the field.

I am biased against BA because I have never met a single BA player in person who does not cheat.
That said, why cheat with an already powerful army?
Meh. Whatever. BA Have a stigma that is horrible. Hopefully the new dex will fix that.

Then what advice you guys got for the army? I have been trying to get some positive help with a 1500 pt BA army. No luck.

I hate them. last week I had a game against Vamps with my Ork army and I spend most of my time fighting Death Company. and I didn't even get points for them! not that I could harm them because they had an armor AND an invulnarabilty save. I mean come on! no other army hast TWO saves.
besides, this whole "red fury" thing is dumb. I mean Vampire Marines?!
the coolest thing about BA was Sanguinius, but he's dead!

Deathwing, Necrons ( WBB), Eldar with guide (The one that allows rerolls). Granted you do get points for those when you do kill htem.
