1) Is the head the "right" size to use for conversions with the CSM Daemon Prince model?
2) I've heard that the wings are great for use in making a flying Hive Tyrant? Is this so? Does the style of wings look like it fits better with the Tyrant than the plastic dragon wings?
Yes, the head is slightly small, but works. There's a conversion of a Daemon Prince with a balrog head from an old WD, it looks good.
Wings on a Hive Tyrant look good too.
The defiler also comes with some spare helmets that might be what you're looking for.
