I'm looking to proxy up some figures and try out some of the new rules and I ran into a couple questions. I'd appreciate anyone's help, as I'm probably over-thinking things.

1. Base sizes: Are the upcoming monster figures all going to use the standard 30mm base? The render for the alpha werewolf and some of the concept drawings look like they might need a bigger base.

2. Factions - I'm pretty new to the game, and haven't used anything more than starter gangs. I get the impression that you can mix and match any gang leaders, professionals and henchmen in your gang as long as you follow the gang creation rules and they are part of the same faction, or factions that are allowed to work together. The name of the gang (Tranquility Crew, Widowmakers, etc.) doesn't matter when it comes to building your gang. Am I getting this right?

3. Heroic characters have a special rule on them such as Nathan's 'Crew Comes First' rule. The 'Create Your Own Gang' rules do not include any mention of this sort of thing. Is there anything baked into the system to balance this? Do these extra abilities work in the campaign system? I don't see anything equivalent for Monsters or Hired guns in the play test, are they going to get them? It's not a huge deal to me, I'm probably going to house rule a flavorful bonus for my leaders, I'm just curious.

Thanks a lot! I'm loving the game so far, and I'm going to stop by one of the events at Origins.

I'm not sure on the base sizes just yet. The minions will most likely all be 30mm, but the skinwalkers may be 40mm since they're are bulkier. I'll have the prints in hand this week finally so I'll know better when I have them in the flesh

Yes, currently you can have any human from any of the starter gangs fighting together, they don't need to come from the same starter set. The gang sets are more like just a way to package a starter gang together and with the same theme, so all you need is 1 box to start playing. You can use the characters in the box, or use the minis to create your own custom gang from scratch.

And yes the heroic characters have their own special skills that aren't available to custom Heroes. That was mostly just for theme and fun, but when I get around to BWG2.0 I plan to have them all as part of a gang leader skill list that you can choose from when building custom gangs. The pre-made characters will have all the same exact rules as custom guys would, just without the extra work of building them yourself

Prints finally came! They won't stick together without glue so I'll have to wait and take pics of the masters when I get those. Anyway, the werewolves are bulky, but I will be packaging them with 30mm bases. 40mm just felt too big. There may be some others that get bigger bases though, The werebears might end up bigger, and I was planning to have the Jersey Devil be a big model, he might even need a 50mm base

Thank you for the info! I'd be disappointed if the Jersey Devil wasn't that big.
