First figure I completed was Julie.

I don't usually seal my minis, but I expect this set to get a lot of use so I used a FLAT sealer from Minitaire. I'm hoping as it dries over night it loses some of that gloss. If it doesn't I may try some Army Painter Anti Shine.

With this figure I tried to emulate the paint scheme from the site while adding an attempt at non metallic metal. While far from perfect I was satisfied, and won't cover it over. I did swap out the bright black base with a yellowish brown. The black seemed to jarring to me, and the yellowish brown should blend in better on the boardwalks of towns. Threw a few purple flowers on to match the base up with the blouse a little, and give a little feminine touch to her. Was on the fence about making the top of that blouse a little sheer and see through, but in the end decided to just stick with the normal version.

Next up I think I'll start working on Captain Reinholdt.

She looks really great, can't wait to see the rest

For the shine you could try Testors dullcoat. I get it a local hobby shop, but it works great. I've tried army painter matte varnish too and that works good too.

The captain is now finished, based, and sealed (with a brush on that didn't dry glossy).

Very happy with how he came out.

I recognize them both from 4Ground (UK terrain manufacturer.) They look amazing, but the prices are steep.

Currently working on the Adam James, but the real life of owing a comic store, and prepping for Gen Con adventures is slowing me down. I'm hoping to have them all down by Sunday night.

Canton finished (renamed).

Changed up a few of the colors from the website version. I really wanted that orange "Fight'n Elves" shirt on him.
I tried to get that mold line cleaned up on his face, but that was a pretty rough one. I think I would have ended up destroying it more than fixing it.

One of my faves from the set.
