I bought the game and really like the rules so far. Seems a very well designed game, streamlined but with enough grit to keep you interested! The included Endoskeletons are an absolute blast to paint, extremely easy!

The above 3 were done under 1h.
Black, Leadbelcher spray, wash 2 drybrushes, 2 dots for the eyes and some red ink in the gun - done!

...and the rest of the 10 Endos of the game box.

Again great fun!

On to the Human Resistance! The core game box also got the “exclusive” metal Kyle Reese model in it, time to paint him.

IMO - as the plastic Resistance fighters - a solid mini sculpt, but not as good as the Endoskeletons. It is in a way a sloppy sculpt, which makes it difficult to paint... The humans are also strangely out of scale. Kyle is a towering mini, while the other plastic sculpts are smaller.
However - I presume it is deliberate, since the weapon sizes are constitant.

The always asked for scale shot is below:

From left to right: Copplestone robot, Endoskeleton, Reese, Plastic Resistance, GW Space Marine

Looks pretty cool! The Endoskeletons are neat. I dig the thin bases... they look a little big for the models, though. Are they 28 or 30mm? Somehow, I always imagined the Endoskeletons bigger... Arnie sized

By the way, the last movie was awesome.

I painted one of the plastic Resistance Fighters, when painted the minis are absolutely OK.

BTW - I recently ordered directly from Riverhorse (http://riverhorse.eu/terminator/), absolutely stunning service, reasonable shipping cost and VERY fast shipment, highly recommended!

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away...

Damn fine work - I'm just watching Genisys again on Sky. Those character models are pretty good representations of their real life actors... Might get me some more endos at Salute this year as well, you've inspired me

Love the paint jobs!

I dig the thin bases... they look a little big for the models, though.

What is quite cool is that the bases in Terminator Genisys are the same width as the movement rulers which are used for LOS and working out where a unit can move to. It's a pretty neat little touch to the game that takes away some of the traditional finagling. What is also cool (to me at least) is that the walk movement stick is 2+"a base" long so if you want to split movement into chunks you can do so without the model moving any quicker. If you're interested check out the rules in my signature.

I can agree with Riverhorse here, the bases and the movement "sticks" are pure genius! It makes many of debatable parts of tabletop gaming VERY precise!
The videos on the Riverhorse side explain this VERY good.
On the downside you have to use 1" bases size!

Still - It make me to rethink my movement rules for Victory Decision...

Terminator Genisys - Rise of the Resistance Board Game

“Terminator Genisys: Rise of the Resistance is a cooperative tactical board game for 1-4 players where you play as the leaders of the Resistance, liberating humankind from the clutches of the machines. Use the mission guide to select your scenario or play through in campaign mode. Build the modular map and select your favourite resistance hero before engaging the terminators in a battle for survival. Roll dice and allocate them to abilities, weapons, movement and more. Keep pressing on toward the next way point but don’t get overrun by the machines.”
—description from the publisher

Plastic T-72 Platform, T-800 Flamer, metal T-800 Commander (Warlord), T-800 and T-72.

The game started as failed Kickstarter but was eventually released as a normal retail game by River Horse. I ordered a discounted copy and was very positive surprised!
Big bunch of minis, great cardboard, decent rules - YES!

The minis are not as good as the Genisys Miniature game minis, but are compatible, sometimes the same sculpts. I rebased some of my older minis, they fit in well!
