well since i saw all the chaos players doing deathwing inspired armies i thought i would share a grey knight force i whipped up for a guy last weekend

HQ-

brother captain terminator grey knight hero-with a few upgrades the blessed weapon one per army thing and targeter, had one other thing but saince i don't have the codex i can't remember what it was

retinue-6 grey knight terminators with 1 psycannon

TROOPS

1-5 man inquisirorial storm trooper squad

2-5 man inquisitorial storm trooper squad

ELITE

1-6 man terminator squad with 1 psycannon

2-6 man terminator squad with 1 psycannon

3-6 man terminator squad with 1 psycannon

heavy

1-grey knight dread with las/missle extra armour

2-grey knight dread with las/missle extra armour

3-grey knight dread with las/missle extra armour

it all comes in just under 1850

in some ways better with all those S6 power weapons that go at initiative...sucks to be the guy with the powerfist when facing them.

two totally different concepts actually. yes ACs are godly for marines but having a S6 power weapon that goes at initiative makes the knights more hand to hand effective against non-vehicles than a standard shooting deathwing with powerfists that go last.
