as an owner of a contempor and deredeo ill share what i feel about the idea of making a contempor to a deredeo as i had a similar plan once upon a time
the problem isnt mounting weapons to the contempor at all, n reality its probably the second easiest forgeworld conversion job one can currently preform (the other being the deimos laser destroyer). the problem is making the model look good. the deredeo's pike nose body is perfect for mounting the weapons he has and finding a better way using the contempor's egg torso is going to be a challenge. i say that if your out to jerry rig something crude anyone can make one from the contempor, some autocannon arms, a dirge caster, and some leftover heavy bolters from some land speeder kits, or heavy flamers. but it would look really really silly a mockery of the deredeo (one might even want to call it the dorito because of how brogamer it would probably look).
so heres how i would make the deredeo contempor conversion to make it look presentable and professional if i wasnt going to do any heavy sculpting:
take contempor's legs and set them up how you want them, next id cut square notches into his torso front, likely places would be on the lower torso on his sides, next we take heavy bolters from a land speeder kit and mount them into the notches, figure out a way to make the ammo belts go from inside his torso down to the ammo feed of the heavy bolters, next we mount the autocannon arms as normal. finally we need to figure out a way to mount a turreted missle pod to him without making it look stupid, consider making a back extension on him such as a plasticard box before finally mounting in it a hatch cap from a rhino and a chaos space marine dirge caster on top of the cap.
all in all i think that the idea of making the deredeo from a contempor is a noble idea but with KO deredeo's on ebay fetching the same price as NiB deathwing terminators over the counter in a store i think youd be better off buying the not so real rick james. and besides the deredeo's model is actually really slick and the pike nose is a million times better than fatticus rex in the dreadnaught standard chassis or the tub's dread torso of the contempor
the leviathan is flat out off the table, hes too big hes on a totally different scale from the other dreadnaughts available, youd probably have to frankenstein an ironclad with a dreadknight for that kind of thing
