I have long been looking for a decent picture of the old golden demon logo. (at least I think it was used as the logotype for the competition in the olden days). It's simply a painting of the golden demon trophy itself and it was also used for shirts given to the winners/competitors?.

It's hopeless searching the web for pictures since "golden demon" gets so many hits of model pictures, and with the abundance of metal themed deamon artwork; adding t-shirt to the search string doesn't help much

The logo can be seen (partly obscured) on the t-shirt in these classic and awesome pictures of Bryan Ansell

If anyone knows where to find the logo, I would be eternally grateful.

The guy on which this was based?

There's a partial view in the middle of this book cover:

I'll keep searching for a better view.

note: google images "golden demon logo 1987" and gradually increase the year. Has not found the logo, but by god I know what I'm spending this evening doing trolling my way through!

Might be worth searching for "golden demon advert" or similar, as the logo sometimes appears in those too.

Edit: Another pose (not the one you were seeking though):

Those are lovely pictures indeed. I think one of those might have been printed on my very first paintset. I assume it's the same deamon all along, just different interpretations

Though I'm after the stylized picture of the actual statue, the deamon with his arms crossed just as on Ansells shirt (or is that a top since it has no sleeves?).

This statue:

I am years late, but this artwork can be found on the Citadel Miniatures Painting Guide and on the Citadel Colour Paint Set from the 1980s. Although its not exactly the same shading as the one on the t-shirt. The artwork was made by Bob Naismith. I can't find a clear artwork, here is what I gathered.

Edit: I found a picture of the original artwork. AND a clear picture of the famous t-shirt as part of a Golden Demon award.
